We are a small family run business that offer a complete service to the public offering home improvement services. "Before "

This small one up, one down property was full of history and presented many challenges whilst undertaking the complete renovation and the change to residential use. Every inch of this dilapidated shell required major attention. Remnents of an old blacksmiths forge or fire pit were found under the existing floor with chunks of iron and horse shoes present which was most likley the last time this building had heating.  Damp was present everwhere due to the poor maintence of the building and no DPC in place. 

"During"   

Creating good access with full independant scaffolding with bridging in place to enable us to repoint the entire building and fix the rotten roof. Services were added to the building as well including mains water, electric and connection to the mains foul drain. 6 types of brick were present in this property from all the previous alterations. The building was leaning in all directions and the roof was nearly 100mm out of level. 6M steel perlings were installed into the roof to carry the load and rafters and plates were replaced everywhere due to severe rot.

"After"

Weeks of hard work definatly pay off and the building is now the best it has ever been whilst trying to keep character. Hardwood timber windows and ivory "k-rend" finish helping to make the property stand out. Internally the list of works was extensive from new concrete floors, floor joists , staircase , fully dry lined, damp coursed, new layout incoperating a bathroom and kitchen whilst adding cupboards where possible to optimise the space available. Insulation was added everywhere to meet building regulations and achieve a great efficiency rating.
